The one year anniversary of the release of A Serpent’s Love on digital has arrived. The tepid start was wrought with adversity. Closed bookstores globally, businesses shut down. A handful of people hearing about the novel were praising it. This was how my debut novel began. I kept hearing that people were reading more during their solitude but for unknown authors this was a nightmare. I can remember clinging to hope, as many artists were that it would be a short 15day shut down like governors suggested.
