For those unaware of my coming novel, it follows a Civil war timeline between the Emancipation Proclamation and the battle of Gettysburg. Hidden in a hollow along the Mason-Dixon is a portal protected by a Mayan witch that becomes compromised by war. Soldiers battling each other discover the supernatural enemy in their midst.
